About
Owl Canyon Press
Gene Hayworth and Keith Waters founded Owl Canyon Press in 2011, as a forum for new voices in fiction and literature in translation. In the past five years our title list has expanded to include such diverse works as the personal memoir Cloudbreak, California, the music collection The Coleman Dowell Songbook, and the legal reference work, The User's Guide to Colorado Marijuana Law. The press is located in Boulder, Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

Our goal is to discover new and upcoming authors whose works stimulate the imagination. We have received grants from the Goethe-Institut as well as the Austrian Ministry of Education and Culture.
"As a librarian, publisher, and owner of a small independent bookstore, I spend my days surrounded by people who appreciate the wonder, knowledge, entertainment and enrichment books can provide. It's a remarkable way to live!"
-Gene Hayworth
