Robert Linz is the Associate Director & Head of Public Services at the University of Colorado School of Law William A. Wise Law Library. He is the author of Colorado Legal Research published by Carolina Academic Press. He holds an M.L.I.S. from Florida State University and a J.D. from the University of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar.
Jeffrey S. Gard is a lawyer focusing on criminal defense and the emerging marijuana industry. For the last two decades, he has litigated hundreds of cases, many through trial, in both state and federal courts. Jeff also successfully litigated and argued cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. Additionally, Jeff represents numerous medical marijuana patients, doctors and marijuana businesses throughout the state of Colorado and has advised people from all over the country. He advises both state and local governments in their development of medical marijuana business regulations. Jeff is widely considered one of Colorado’s leading marijuana attorneys. Since the passage of Amendment 64, which legalized adult possession and cultivation of marijuana in Colorado, Jeff has been working with state and local officials in developing regulations for the retail marijuana industry and was appointed by the state to participate in the rule-making progress.
Alex Cox, a leading advocate for marijuana law reform, was born near Liverpool, 15 December 1954. He is the director of such acclaimed films as Repo Man, Walker, Sid & Nancy and others. Alex studied at Wirral Grammar School; Worcester College, Oxford; Bristol University; and UCLA; Currently he teaches film production and screenwriting at the University of Colorado.
